Mike and Jeff spent time together talking about their crushes and favorite brand of clogs while touring together in the pop punk band Amuse. Years prior to that, when Jeff was released from maximum security prison, Jeff played in a punk band with Justin called Welfare Beer League.

After some time and consideration, the three decided to put their power rings and summon...nothing. So they started a band called Mulva.
